The combination of (beautifully sung and played) songs, first-hand accounts and news reels was perfect, and the whole evening was brilliantly atmospheric thanks to the lighting, fantastic costumes and your few butwell chosen props. It was also very emotional and at times both my friend and I got quite tearful, but then the laughs returned with some of bawdier songs and funny accounts. And the people who had witnessed these events first-hand clearly felt the same, if the comments and singing around us were anything to go by. They helped make the evening too, what a brilliant bunch!
